About the Role

Västanhede is looking for a driven and transport-interested operations manager who will have employee responsibility for about 30 bus drivers stationed in Hedemora and Säter. We operate scheduled traffic on behalf of Dalatrafik. The role involves being responsible for adhering to our commitments under the applicable traffic agreements, scheduling for drivers within given frameworks, time reporting, and any employee matters (with support from HR if needed). You will work closely with Västanhede's other operations managers in Dalarna and workshops.

Personal Attributes and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should enjoy a workday with great variation, from administrative tasks to managing vehicles. You have a pedagogical and professional approach in your dialogue with both employees and traffic authorities. You are proactive and have the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions. You are structured, responsible, goal-oriented, and see opportunities in changes. You can handle a fluctuating workload and take responsibility for ensuring the operation runs smoothly. Although the position mainly involves office hours, working hours may vary depending on the needs of the business.

You who are applying have a background in transport and logistics, and it is advantageous if you have experience in the bus industry. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position, and a D license is an advantage.
